This with That: Paint with Harry Adler: Season 3 Episode 1
Harry Adler of Adler’s Design Center & Hardware in Providence talks paint, including C2 Paint
Harry began his career at Adler’s at the age of 10 in 1964. He graduated in 1977 from Roger Williams University with a BS in business management. He went back to work at Adler’s the day after his graduation, with the intent of making up a resume and looking for a job. 47 years later Harry’s career goal had become retiring many years from now, and never having made up a resume.
In addition to running the paint department at Adler’s, Harry is one of the cofounders of C2 Paint, the only cooperatively owned paint company in North America.
Katie and Dawn get the episode started by asking Harry the history of Adler’s. Then the conversation turns to paint. Harry shares the origin story of C2 Paint. Tune into the episode to learn more. We’ll share here a few C2 Paint colors (which are mentioned in the episode) and pull-quotes to capture your interest.
